Steps to Visiting on Sunday
1. Choose a Worship Service
Worship is at 8:30 and 10:50 a.m., with some exceptions on special holidays. Each service includes the same sermon. On your first visit, it’s best to arrive about 15 minutes early, or 30 minutes early if you need time to find your children’s classroom locations.
Children in grades 1st -5th grade will be dismissed from the church service at a designated time in the service. With the help of our many volunteers, the children are lead to room 227B, where they will experience Children’s Worship that provides a media-driven, interactive worship experience.
Parents, please pick your child up directly after the Service in Room 227B of the Children’s Floor. Children’s Worship will not meet during the month of June and July

3. Find a Place for Yourself and Your Kids
Greeters are ready to answer your questions before and between each service. Just look for them at each church door. They can help you choose a Sunday School class that’s right for you. If you have children, stop by the children’s welcome booth to find out about classes and locations. Jr. high and Sr. high students meet at 9:30 a.m. in the Warehouse for Sunday School.
4. Celebrate Through Worship
Ushers will welcome you into the Historic Worship Center before 8:30 am or the Main Worship Center before 10:50 am. and will give you an Order of Worship outlining the service. Ushers can help you find a seat. Toward the beginning of the service, everyone is invited to stand and greet one another with handshakes. You will not be singled out as a visitor. Biblical teaching, participatory singing, prayer, and giving are key components of worship at FBC of Newnan.
