Children

1st Grade Through 5th Grade

Sunday Mornings 9:40 am – 10:40 am

Children are a gift of the Lord! Jesus himself cherished children and blessed them, saying in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” We believe that God has given parents the primary responsibility and privilege of bringing up children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4; Deut. 6:4-9). It is the desire of our Children’s Ministry to partner with each parent to effectively teach children about Christ’s love and move them toward a personal relationship with Jesus.

Sunday School is a valuable tool we use to lay the foundation of the word of God for our children. We believe a safe and fun, creative environment will enhance the learning of God’s word. We look forward to sharing with you and your child a ministry that is Christ-centered and child-focused . Join us for Sunday School each Sunday from 9:40 to 10:40. After Sunday School, first, second, and third grade children have the opportunity to attend their own Children’s Worship in the Historic Sanctuary. The Children’s Worship experience is patterned after the Adult Worship Service.

*PARENTS-Children’s Worship Notes will be available for children attending Adult Worship. Children will need to bring their Bible and a pencil/pen to Worship to complete their Worship Notes.
